According to substance and form, anting-anting (amulets and charms) varies. It can be organic or inorganic. The organic ones are those from plants and animals including human bones or dried placenta; the inorganic are from metals, minerals like precious stones. (Cebuano Eskrima)

In this era of commercializm, these anting-anting are already sold out in the market attracting buyers who long for good health, peace of mind, love, prosperity, and even self-preservation and protection. For many eskrimadors, anting anting or these charms and amulets are used as their weapons and source of energy.

It is for me to shallow to accept anting-anting or these amulets and charms as the whole truth nor would it be a prestense in my part to deny what I have observed among friends and colleagues.

I believe that there is a better explanation for all these; the explanations for such results are not yet sufficient. But the produce of such belief is tantamount to real.
